We’ve mentioned previously about our expanded family. Unfortunately, being a one car family with Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and two growing puppies, just does not allow us the comfort that one would wish for.

So, it is time to start saving up for a new Jeep now. Of course, we are saving for the four door Rubicon. What else would we buy? We’re hoping to be able to put enough money into it, to be able to purchase a 2008, when the 2009s start rolling out next year. This time though, we won’t be asking for donations or anything like that.

We will simply be saving up for a newer Jeep Wrangler.

 

Blog Action DayOn October 16th, 2007, I Want a Jeep will be participating in the 2007 Blog Action Day to help raise awareness for the issues surrounding the environment. Any posts on that day will revolve around the environment and the effects that Jeeps can have on it.

If you happen to have a blog, you can get in on the action of Blog Action Day and help support a great cause and effort.

 

I am way behind on this one, but at the end of July, Chrysler announced that it was extending the powertrain warranties of all unsold 2007 and 2008 vehicles to the lifetime of the vehicle. The warranty is not transferrable and you must bring the vehicle in every five years for a powertrain inspection. The actual press release is after the jump.

I’ve written previously about how my wife love to drive our 2006 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Recently we got two springer spaniel puppies whose first three hours in our care was sitting in our Rubicon. Ever since then, the two of them have been giant lovers of the Jeep. So much so that they even love going to see the vet, as long as they can ride in the Jeep

This weekend I rolled out a new design to [I Want a Jeep](http://iwantajeep.net “I Want a Jeep”). This new design will make it easier for me to maintain the site. There are a few holes in the site, but they will be plugged shortly.
