Over at the [Chrysler Blog](http://blog.chryslerllc.com/ “Chrysler Blog”), the owner of AEV ([American Expedition Vehicles](http://www.aev-conversions.com/ “American Expedition Vehicles”)) has written a post that offers a [little insight into his business](http://blog.chryslerllc.com/blog.do;jsessionid=5697CCD0DD05909EAAD65CDA2F17AFC7?id=127&p=entry “AEV insight”). His business, by the way, is making Jeeps a little tougher, well, a lot tougher than they are when they come out of the factory.

>They’re investing thousands of dollars improving the functionality and uniqueness of their vehicles, and keeping us scrambling to create new and useful packages to enhance their experience.

Chrysler is [dropping the price of the 2008 Jeep Liberty](http://www.content-articles.com/articles/72695/1/Chrysler-to-Cut-Prices-of-2008-Jeep-Liberty-and-Stop-its-Dodge-Nitro-Ad/Page1.html “Low Price 2008 Jeep Liberty”). They are also dropping the ads for the Dodge Nitro.

>Chrysler is continuously cutting prices and the latest recipient on the list is the redesigned 2008 Jeep Liberty with high quality Jeep engine parts arrives in the market with a tag price pf $20,990 for the Sport 4×2 model while a $22,600 price was placed on the Sport 4×4 and this include the $660 destination fee. Comparing the latest pricings of the Liberty they are lower than the outgoing model by $1270 and $1170 respectively. The Limited models will start at $25,175 and $26,785 both prices are lesser by $720 and $620 respectively.

I think that this is a sign of things to come. Chrysler has launched quite a few vehicles recently and definitely needs to trim some from the lineup.

2008 Jeep Wrangler In Rescue Green

You can now build your 2008 Jeep Wrangler online at [Jeep.com](http://jeep.com “Jeep”). If I were able to purchase a new Jeep Wrangler this year, I would want a green Unlimited Rubicon, *pictured at right*.

Which one would you buy?

AOL has marked the Jeep Compass as the most popular new car on their site. Just like AOL’s internet service, ranking the Jeep Compass as the most popular is just bad. Maybe it is popular, but it can’t be the most popular car, can it?

For any party that may be interested the song in the “Sunshine” commercial for Jeep is actually, called “Sunshine”, and it was performed by Jonathan Edwards. Just to make sure that we are talking about the same commercial, here is the full version.
