Jeep has launched their new advertising campaign for the 2006 Jeep Commander. The campaign features a fictional family called “The Mudds”:http://wearethemudds.com, who are willing to do anything and possess the vehicle with which to do it.

I don’t like the softer side of Jeep.

bq. Jeep is taking a big chance with this “kinder, gentler” SUV in hopes that it will boost volumes without diluting the brand. With the right styling and performance it should be a hit, but die-hards are sure to question its lack of true off-road credentials.
