Jeep, well Chrysler has announced 0% financing for 72 months on Jeeps. Now is a good time for anyone who wants a new Jeep.

>0% APR offering for 72 months includes the following 2007 model year vehicles: Chrysler Aspen; Chrysler Town & Country and Dodge Grand Caravan minivans; Jeep Commander; Dodge Dakota and the Dodge Durango.
>
>0% APR on select 2007 models for 60 months includes the following vehicles: Chrysler Pacifica; Jeep Grand Cherokee; Jeep Liberty and the Dodge Ram 1500 Regular and Quad-Cab Pickup Trucks.

It’s just a shame that there is no 0% on Jeep Wranglers.

Here’s another review for the [2008 Jeep Liberty](http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/suvs/112_0708_2008_jeep_liberty/ “2008 Jeep Liberty”). This time it comes from Motor Trend, and again it is fairly positive. I guess, when you torch the old Jeep-lacking version for a more true Jeep, it’s always a good thing.

>The small-mid-size Dodge Nitro SUV launched about a year ago on an updated Jeep Liberty platform. Jeep has been busy launching its smaller, four-cylinder-only cute utes, the Compass and Patriot. So finally, now, the stalwart Liberty gets the same updates as benefit the Nitro. And it gets a more macho-looking Jeep seven-slat grille, replacing the more rounded, friendly-looking grille that ironically has been applied to the iconic, macho Wrangler.

2008 Jeep Liberty
The reviews keep coming in for the new 2008 Jeep Liberty. This time the [review is positive](http://info.detnews.com/autosconsumer/autoreviews/index.cfm?id=26715 “Detroit News review of 2008 Jeep Liberty”), describing the new vehicle as both rugged and versatile. While I am not a fan of most of the Jeep vehicles that are not Wrangler’s, it looks like Jeep has done a good job with this one.

>Versatility is a key characteristic for the Liberty. The plastic flares on the trapezoidal wheel wells are removable for off-road purists who fear nicks and gouges. The cargo bay can be arranged for multiple types of content, with optional fold-flat front passenger seat and 60/40 fold-flat rear seats. Moving the spare tire beneath the rear end added 3.3 inches of cargo length.

I was hunting around for some information for some information about the history of the Jeep wave. I ran across [this page](http://www.jeeptalk.org/jeep_wave.shtml “The Jeep Wave”) which goes into great detail about the history and the etiquette of the wave.

>**The Jeep Wave:** An honor bestowed upon those drivers with the superior intelligence, taste, class, and discomfort tolerance to own the ultimate vehicle – the Jeep.
