The first ‘squirrel commercial’ in a series of two wolf commercials, two squirrel commercials and two bird commercials. These are the “liberty sessions’ whereby they make ‘real’ animals sing pretty catchy songs regarding the Jeep Liberty. Interesting that they are pushing a ‘nature/environment’ theme now instead of such a heavy ‘personal lifestyle’ advertising theme. Jeep is jumping on the ‘green’ bandwagon!

wow – very old school ‘plain jane’ jeep cherokee commercial. doesn’t say much other than, Jeep cherokee, more power! good financing terms….interesting that in 1987 (the vintage of the ad) they weren’t pushing lifestyle branding. I will have to watch to see when the change occurred (or at least, watch to see if this is an anomaly or not)

Jeep funwheels commercial – not overly dramatic, interesting, but not super cool. This is the Jeep commercial showing a bunch of different scenes of Jeeps without bodies, just different ‘fun things’ like a surfboard on wheels, a picnic basket on wheels etc. True to the ‘Jeep as lifestyle’ marketing brand, but not the ‘best’ commercial I have ever seen.
This jeep commercial comes to us all the way from Austria, but is close to my heart…hasn’t everyone always wanted to drive a jeep?

This is a great commercial from Jeep for the Wrangler Unlimited – 4 door. Picture a couple apes sitting in a jungle eating stuff….along comes what looks like a big bug (but in reality is the 4 door Wrangler Unlimited with a couple surfboards on the top that look like wings or something) The Ape picks it up, goes to eat it and then spits it out (presumably because it was too hard to chew). The ‘bug’ lands on the ground and you see it from the side….Jeep. Nicely done!
