Fire Fighters Revealing Wrangler

Today, to announce the new 2007 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and the new Jeep patriot, the advertising folks at Jeep decided to call on the help of 6 tons of mud. When washed away the mud gave way to the new Jeep Unlimited. Afterwards the new Jeep Patriot received a little hazing by way of the attendees tossing mud at the new Jeep. This was definitely a great use of creativity on the part of Jeep.

Now that both new Wranglers are fully announced, I must start pushing to raise the needed money to buy my 2007 Wrangler. Look for new and inventive ways to accomplish that in the coming weeks.

Why can’t the US get a diesel? I see this as incredibly short sighted by DC. I don’t want to start a war, but it is a mismatch in the Liberty. The diesel should be in a vehicle that people want it in. The target market for the Liberty will not like the added noise, smell, or price (both vehicular cost and fuel cost). Where as the Jeep market wont care about noise (roof down will cause enough sounds to overwhelm the engine noise), fuel cost (if you are crawling at 4.0 to 1 fuel cost down matter anymore), smell (well I don’t care) and I would pay the vehicular cost also. Besides these reasons I also would love more torque for towing, and improved highway fuel economy would be a plus.

Does anyone else share my thoughts?

Sorry one last comment, I know the diesel liberty is selling better that DC expects, but what would happen if the diesel appeared in the vehicel people are asking for it in.

I’m with you on these. I can’t understand why there aren’t more diesel vehicles in the US. Especially since the majority of new diesel engines can be run off biodiesel and that alone could make us non foreign oil dependent any more. I am currently in Europe right now and it appears that all ehicle here are diesels. That’s not entirely true, but a lot of them are.
